CREATING A STRONG, BRANDED ENVIROMENT & TIPS TO MAKE IT WORK

“design is the silent ambassador of your brand.” -paul rand

your brand is who you are. it is a reflection of your company’s culture, values, and work as a collective. it is easy to understand the importance of branding when it comes to marketing, but it is equally as important when it comes to incorporating your brand into your built environment.

3 BENEFITS TO CREATING A STRONG, BRANDED ENVIROMENT

1.

a branded, built environment clearly communicates your company’s mission/values. are you a company centered around service? or maybe your mission is to bring the best coffee to the neighborhood. interior, graphic and landscape design has the potential to engage your clients and customers.

2.

did you know that a well branded environment attracts & retains not only clients, but talented employees? it’s true! studies have shown that having a clearly branded space helps to create loyalty among your employees and reiterates the mission that you want to instill. It is that sense of belonging that makes people want to stick around.

3.

incorporating branding creates a recognizable environment, again to your clients, customers and future talent. Paying attention to the smallest detail helps to craft your authentic story, making you more memorable to those visiting.

4 TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR DESIGN REFLECT YOUR BRAND

because how do you actually integrate your branding message into your space, so that is compliments your other brand and marketing strategies?

1.

work with a designer to incorporate your brand throughout the design process. they are armed with so many tricks to incorporate your message without overwhelming the aesthetic and comfort of your space. they are also experts in approaching the strategy as a whole, bringing the right people to the table.

2.

partner with local creatives and artists! this is one of our favorite tips. getting other creatives involved bring a new perspective to the project, as well as a touch of local understanding.

3.

source materials and furniture from right there in your own backyard! ok, maybe not literally, but there are so many goodies that can be found in architectural salvage yards, second hand furniture stores, and estate/office sales.

4.

lastly, we recommend that you add a few unique furniture pieces that reflect your brand. these can be an investment piece or something that is original to the business. this helps to reinforce your own story, as well as adding a bit of your own flair to the space.
